At launch, the Equal Partners App has the core features to enable household tasks to be added, allocated and tracked, but I’m excited to add additional features in the coming months. When first setting up a household in the app, you will need to invite users who will then be emailed to enjoy a shared view of the household and tasks added. ‘One off’ tasks are easy to add, but to save time use the recurring functionality ‘Add Repeat’ which will mean those weekly chores will never be forgotten. Remember to ‘Add Reminder’ and enable notifications for that handy daily morning prompt. You can also use the Calendar view and filters to see what’s coming up in the days and weeks ahead. The USP of Equal Partners is the comparison and graphic between the household members, so use the Results page or Rewards and Forfeits page to motivate members of the household who might not be pulling their weight.
